I have used other threads and this one is great for the price. It performs as well as others and looks great. I always use a thread stand even with small spools. If I have a problem I always re-thread machine and bobbin and that usually takes care of it and sometimes replace a needle even if they are new they can have a burr on them that will create threads breaking.

I have used Poly-X for years. In the past 2 months I have had numerous problems with the thread getting caught up in itself. I have broken at least 10 needles because the thread will get caught and wont break loose. I will then try to separate it, and it pulls away fine. I have had trouble on both machines so it isnt a machine problem (which I cant figure out how it could be). Is poly-X getting bad???

I had all sorts of brands, but stumbled upon this brand and had less breaking and less trouble ... I found myself listening for the machine to stop due to a break, and sure enough, it stopped... BUT only because it was finished.... ! I am thrilled with this thread and highly recommend it, the people are a joy to deal with.... They went out of their way to help me lower costs, (shipping, duties etc. ) as I do not live in the US...

Had an awful time with the white thread breaking & fraying. Changed needles, buffed hook & bobbin case & throat plate. Replaced the thread with old thread I had & it sewed beautifully. Haven't had too many issues with other colors, but still have occassional breaks ... more so than other brands.
